Port of Bodø offers waste disposal, fresh water and shore power at selected quays at the port for both commercial vessels and pleasure craft.

Waste

The Port of Bodø has established facilities for receiving waste from ships at the Bodø Terminal/the Terminal Quay. The delivery of waste must take place from the designated quay and be agreed with the Port Control no later than 24 hours before the call/delivery.

Waste collection facilities have also been established for pleasure craft. There is an underground waste facility at Rønvik Harbour & Marina and bins for residual waste bins are also placed along the harbour area. Waste from pleasure craft must be placed in the rubbish bins located at the jetties and quays. Advance agreement is not required.

Freshwater

Freshwater is available at all guest marinas. Please note that seasonal restrictions may apply.

Freshwater is also available at the Terminal Quay and the Old Steamship Quay. This must be ordered in advance via the Port Control or SafeSeaNet.

Shore Power

Shore power is now available at the Port of Bodø’s guest marinas and berths for pleasure craft. Shore power for visiting vessels is available on all guest jetties and is included in daily fee. Power for pleasure craft with fixed berths is paid via automated payment machines. All power outlets are 16A 230V single phase.

Several 230V 80A 3-phase shore power outlets for the commercial fleet are located along the Old Steamship Quay.

For the commercial fleet, there are several 230V 80A 3-phase outlets along the Old Steamship Quay.

At Klossen near the Old Steamship Quay there is also:

• 1 shore power outlet, 400V 125A 3-phase
• 1 shore power outlet, 230V 125A 3-phase

The Port of Bodø is currently in the process of establishing shore power facilities for larger ships. These will be located at:

• Valenterminalen
• The Terminal Quay
• Terminal Quay South
• The Town Square Quay/Østbrekken

An NG3 shore power solution will be established on the southern side of the Terminal Quay. This is intended primarily for the Coastal Route and is scheduled for completion in August 2021.

Shore power must be ordered via the Port Control or SafeSeaNet.
